The Expert Hour is a one-off, in-depth Architectural Design consultation tailored specifically to your project. Whether you're at the early stages of planning or need expert advice on specific challenges, this session provides valuable insights and actionable solutions.


No questions are off the table—we can brainstorm creative ideas, discuss materials and finishes, evaluate planning strategies, or address any other aspect of your project. Every question you have will be expertly answered, ensuring you leave the consultation with greater clarity and confidence in your next steps.

  • Because the expert hour is an intense dip into your project to clarify a particular question, it’s important to consider which offers are better for your unique circumstances. The expert hour package will be a good fit for you if:

    • You have some experience with property developments.

    • You have a particular question to which you require specialist advice.

    • You are working on a small renovation project and need some input regarding planning and other legal questions.

    • If you are exploring the options of self-managing your home renovation or engaging with an architect from start to finish, my mobile design service and concept-to-completion packages offer a more comprehensive approach, including design, planning, and project management.

  • In order for the expert hour to work smoothly and successfully for all parties, you’ll need to come in with a CLEAR question/s about the topic you want to discuss.

    If you’re unclear where to start or what you need in the first place, please consider checking out my mobile design service and concept-to-completion packages which offer a more comprehensive approach, including design, planning, and project management.

    In order to prepare for our meeting I will require the full address of the property and any existing plans you might have.

  • In order to offer a custom answers to your questions with a smaller price tag, I’ve had to set firm boundaries and deliverables, but know that it can still be a happy and fulfilling process for all parties. :)

    Here is what is not included:

    • Outline design for your proposal. You will receive only the sketches we might develop in our hour together.

    • Cost estimates.

    • Access to trade discounts available to me.

    That said, you are free to add on elements as needed at an extra cost. Simply let me know and I’ll put together a custom proposal.

  • You are free to add on design and development elements as needed at an extra cost. For example, you may choose to add on:

    — Full concept design

    — Submission of planning application

    — Interior Design concept including finishes and fittings

    If you know ahead of time, let me know and I’ll include the extra item(s) within a custom proposal.

    Otherwise, you can always ask me to send you a proposal for additional services after our hour together.

  • Currently, you can book the expert hour about three days in advance.

    Our meeting will be about an hour long. I am not fussed if it takes a few more minutes.

    You will receive your written summary within 36 hours after our meeting over email!

    For any additional services, I will inform you about the specific timeline beforehand.

  • Investment is £259 (no VAT applicable) and it is to be paid before we meet.

    Any additional design elements will incur extra cost and be communicated as a flat fee with you beforehand.
