O3 is a concept work for a temporary and recyclable single-family home for four people, which can be moved to a different location or disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.

This conceptual project was designed for use as a temporary, recyclable single-family-home for four people.

The mobile residential property can be easily moved around different locations or disposed of in an environmentally responsible way.

We considered the space as a sustainable solution for limited housing, with an emphasis on movability and flexibility of location.

This O3 concept home can be built as a stand-alone or as a ‘parasite’ extension to existing buildings. It consists of three spherical modules which are connected using ‘airlock’ style fixtures. The outer walls of each sphere would be constructed from hardened flax, and the space between them can be insulated with hemp and flax mats. Sunlight and fresh air circulate the structure through the skylight and lateral portholes.
